Inkovera ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service at www.inkovera.com.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Name, email address, and authentication provider (GitHub or Google) when you sign up.
• Project files: Source code repositories (via GitHub API) or ZIP files you upload for report generation. These are analyzed to generate your report and deleted from our storage after processing.
• Report metadata: University name, supervisor name, project title, and language preferences you provide.
• Payment information: We do not store payment card details. Payments are processed by Paddle, a third-party merchant of record.
• Usage data: Credits balance, report generation history, and download activity.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the report generation service.
• To manage your account and credit balance.
• To process payments and send receipts.
• To improve our AI models and service quality (using anonymized, aggregated data only).
• To respond to support requests.
• To send important service notifications (not marketing without consent).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure.
• NVIDIA NIM: AI inference API used to generate report sections. Only your project content and prompts are sent — no personal identifiers.
• Paddle: Payment processing. Subject to their own privacy policy.
• GitHub API: Only accessed with your explicit OAuth consent to read repository data.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Uploaded ZIP files and GitHub repository data are deleted from our storage immediately after your report is generated. Generated PDF reports are stored until you delete them from your dashboard. You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded on our platform.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at media.inkovera@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Row-Level Security on our database, and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
